Recycle THIS Workshop

Have you ever stood in front of your recycling bin, wondering if you should put in a particular item? Are you confused about why recycling rules seem to be changing? Have you ever wondered if there's a better destination for the random trash that seems to accumulate in your life?

In this workshop from Recycle This Pittsburgh, you'll gain an understanding of the challenges facing residential recycling and learn how to recycle with more confidence. We'll look at real items and talk about where, how, and why they might or might not be recycled, and we'll cover what YOU can do to make recycling better everywhere. Attendees are welcome to bring an item from their own life that they've been wondering how to recycle.

Sabrina Culyba is the editor of Recycle This Pittsburgh, a hyper-local recycling resource for Pittsburgh residents. She is a game designer by trade, but is also active locally on issues around plastic waste.
