Joni Kamlet keeps her listeners on their toes with her fascinating life journey. She recounts her experience within the American educational system and her struggles learning in a nonnatural environment. Upon spiraling from the use of drugs and drink, she brought herself back into balance by becoming a massage therapist and ultimately healing herself. All her life being aware of the color and energy around her, her mystical experiences became more intense as she nurtured her spiritual side. She became involved with Ashram and speaks of how valuable meditation is to her. Joni’s interviewer and childhood friend, Dr. Elisa Haransky Beck, commends Joni’s courage and appreciates how she reconnected to herself through her environment. Through her own health issues, Joni learnt natural remedies, which pushed her on yet another spiritual path. Joni ultimately explains that we must take care of mother nature and pay attention to the world around us.
After working as a Bartender and Massage Therapist, Joni started using her abilities in natural health, and worked as a veterinary nurse. She supplied knowledge of nutrition and medicinal supplements for animals for over eight years. Now working for a new company, Aduco, she distributes a line of mushroom powered supplements, 3rd Planet. Joni explains how mushrooms have the ability to heal the planet, as they provide immune support and help with neurology issues such as depression and anxiety.
